Printing and Purchase Information

My photographs can be printed on just about any surface. The size of a print will depend on the density or "pixels" of the original photograph. Canvas or  "Giclee" printing is very well suited for many of my photographs but fine art paper will also produce an excellent result.

What is Giclee Printing

Pronounced "jhee-clay", giclee is a sophisticated inkjet printing method. The word "giclee" is derived from the French language word "le gicleur" meaning "nozzle", or more specifically "gicler" meaning "to squirt, spurt, or spray". It has do with the fact that papers are being sprayed on with pigments by nozzles with an approximate diameter of one millionth of the diameter of a hair. In short, "Giclee" is just a fancy term for a high quality ink-jet print that uses fade resistant archival inks and papers. Giclee printing on canvas produces high quality photographs that look fantastic and hang in top galleries around the world. All sizes of prints can be produced especially for large format prints. Giclee printing on papers also produces great prints. Special acid-free papers and coatings will ensure fade resistant results with rich color and continuous tones that rival traditional photo lab results.
